Jon McDunn

Jon McDunn joined Project Data Sphere as Program Manager leading the External Control Arm research program.  Prior to joining PDS, Jon orchestrated the acquisition of his most recent venture, Clinical Sensors. At Clinical Sensors, Jon secured $4M of NIH SBIR funding and drove the R&D program. Prior to Clinical Sensors, Jon led two product development efforts at Metabolon, one in “GXP biomarker development as a service” and another in genitourinary oncology. Previously he supported new product development at Incyte Genomics.

Jon has held faculty positions at UNC-Chapel Hill (Biomedical Engineering) and Washington University in St. Louis (Anesthesiology). Jon was a postdoctoral fellow in surgical critical care at Washington University in St. Louis after receiving his PhD in inflammation biology from The Scripps Research Institute and has a BS in chemistry from the California Institute of Technology.
