Juliana Perl


Juliana Perl is an Assistant Director of Impact1, a Stanford Biodesign program focused on the development of pediatric and maternal health technology. Her work includes developing a novel diagnostic device for patients in neonatal intensive care units, coaching teams through the UCSF-Stanford Pediatric Device Consortium, and conducting policy research with Biodesign’s Innovation Policy Program. Juliana previously worked at Health Advances, a healthcare strategy consulting firm, where she supported healthcare technology companies and investors in their commercial strategy decisions to drive the adoption of innovations that improved patient care.
Her passion for advancing health equity led her to volunteer with organizations working to establish medical infrastructure around the globe, including the University of Global Health Equity (Rwanda), the African Federation for Emergency Medicine (South Africa), and Human Engineers (the Philippines). She graduated from Stanford with a MS in Management Science & Engineering and BS in Product Design Engineering.
