Ronak Assadi
Ronak Assadi is a Program Manager for the Network Development & Innovation department at Children’s Health System of Texas. She is passionate about utilizing technology to fill gaps in health care and reaching underserved populations. In her current role, Ronak develops and manages two chronic care mobile apps created by Children’s Health, the Diabetes Advisor and Asthma Buddy. These apps provide clinical support and access to educational resources to empower families of children with diabetes and/or asthma to better manage their condition.
Ronak received her Masters in Public Health from Tulane University with a focus on International Health and Development and conducted her research on village health systems strengthening in rural Tanzania. Prior to Children’s Health, Ronak worked on pandemic response and disaster preparedness programming at the World Health Organization in Geneva.
